A natural way to live · Our first collections are taking shape
OUR MATERIALS
Natural is our starting point. Clear composition is how that principle becomes useful to you.
A natural outer layer is only part of the story. Linings, stitching, fillings and coatings matter too. Our selection principle is to exclude synthetic materials from the finished products we sell.
Each item will be assessed individually before it joins the range. Product descriptions will identify the materials that have been verified.
Nettle, hemp, cotton and jute are among the fibres we intend to include. They may appear in garments, textiles, baskets or materials for making. Fibre type, blends and construction will be described on individual listings.
Wool is an animal fibre, and felt describes a material structure rather than a fibre composition. We will identify wool and other animal materials clearly. Our natural-materials principle is not a vegan claim.
Wooden household objects and paper stationery bring the principle into everyday work and home life. Details about coatings, bindings and other components will be checked for each finished item.
Colour alone does not tell you how a product was dyed or finished. We will describe these processes when verified and will not assume that a natural fibre means a naturally dyed or chemical-free product.
CLEAR CLAIMS
We do not treat “natural” as automatic proof that an item is organic, vegan, biodegradable or certified. Those terms need their own evidence. Relevant certifications or test information will be identified only where available and applicable.
Material composition, dimensions or sizing, relevant construction details, care guidance and availability. Where colour, finish or other components affect a choice, those details should be stated.
No. Care depends on the fibre, construction and finish of the item. Follow its specific instructions rather than assuming one washing or cleaning method fits the whole range.
Contact us before ordering with the product name and the detail you need. If a specification is still being checked, we will say so.
